Biking in NY sounds amazing! You have me convinced that we have done a disservice by not letting our kids become more independent and be out in the world. It’s not as scary of a place as media makes it seem!

I can relate. We wanted to go on a bike tour in Stockholm, but my son didn’t know how to ride a bike, he was 7 years old at that time. He learned to ride the bike the day before we went to the city tour, but he had quite a few falls on the tour. Great memories!
